Johnny M About Page

Born in Brooklyn, and grew-up during the hey-day of Doo-Wop and Rock & Roll. During his high-school years, Johnny was the lead-singer of a Rock & Roll Group, designed in the style of the Duprees. His group sang at many of the local restaurants, and at local parties. His group worked only for tips, never thinking that one day he would become a professional singer / performer. But, it was a wonderful time of life!

Through the years, Johnny sang at friend’s parties, but it wasn’t until the late 90’s, when Johnny moved to Florida, that he began to perform professionally, at many of the local clubs, such as Legions, V.F.W.’s, Elks, Palermo’s, as well as many private shows at area condos and clubs. In those past twenty years, Johnny has performed with several of the famous stars of the Rock & Roll Era, such as Joey Dee, J.T. Carter, Jimmy Roselli, etc. Johnny also performs with many of the singers, who are local favorites, such as Bill Castner, Karen Kallin, Tony Rizzo, etc., and have developed quite a following.

In the near future, Johnny and his singing partners have opportunities to perform at much larger venues, such as cruise-ships, political events, etc. These new avenues will elevate Johnny’s professional experiences to new levels. And, this has again become a wonderful time of life.
